Hi Monaroman,

I actually have to postpone this weekend, as i will now be in Melbourne.

We usually run in 3 main places:

Heffron Park, Maroubra

Carpark in Concord

Olympic stadium - in a carpark on the outskirts

Maps to locations #2 and #3 are in my members gallery.

Happy to organise a bash somewhere more central, if you are keen to check it out.

U betcha, concord or homebush are sweet for me, I'm at blacktown. Keen to check it out and possibly have a shot, just shoehorned a OS18TZP into my FW05T and all it'll do successfully is slide (insane power), trying to get her drifting nicely, doesn't need the hpi tyres to drift, foams will do! But I have some drift tyres anyway.

Sounds good mate. Will try for the concord option, methinks.

Just remember - drifting is a technical race, as opposed to a power haul! Make sure your shocks are set very tight, and if you have enough power to spare - throw in some counter weights on the opposite side of the engine.

Definitely go for the drift slicks - as they actually get grippy when they get nice and hot.

Looking forward to meeting up.

Mate - the best part is - the track stays the same at all the events. There are about 3 standard tracks, but we will be using track #2 for the next few months to get some interest generated - http://www.nitrodrifters.com - homepage, right side is a link to events - about us page, shows the track we will be using.

Set one up yourself in the meantime and practice on it. It only really takes a few laps before you start getting used to drift lines etc. From then on - each time you run it, it gets a little easier.

Hope to see all you guys there on the 14th.Edited by: nitro-drifter
