: Fairfield ShowGround 25/2/07

Sorry guys but no pics! This is because it was a trial bash. There was me with my savvy, few mates -savvy, mt2, revo3.3, jato3.3.

All in all we had fun, the reason we went down was to see if the showground track was suitable for a proper, organised bash. We all believe its worthy, its awesome and the jumps are great. Apparently we arn't the only 1s who use it as i found an empty hotstuff bottle on the floor https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif. It started to rain about 30 mins in so we went down to the shelter where the markets are held on saturdays and made a ramp jumping onto the horserace track. Ramp proved a success, and we didnt leave until we had ALL broken something https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif.

Thinking of actually organising something, show your intrest. I forgot to get pics!!!

Heres the damage report:

my MT2 - snapped left rear shock body, broken clutch bell, killed a slipper pad.
anf0's savvy x - stripped spur

Friends cars:
revo - broken engine mounts, stripped rear diffs (fronts too i think)
jato - snapped hinge pin retainer
savvy x - another stripped spur

It was great fun there but i was pretty dissapointed cause my clutchbell died (gear part snapped of from actual 'bell'), but i didnt mind cause i was having too much fun before that. I hope next time we can get more people to turn up.

eh, he's given it a fair bit. The engine is still happily churning by the way https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif. Just a good mix of bottom + top end got it going fine.

Good to hear if i ever get another truck ill come around and join you in tearing it up.However ijust bought myself alittle heli so im keepin myself busy on that for a little while.

Helicopter?, lol, come and join us in the dark side againhttps://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif, im suprised you got out of it in the first place. But yeh, the mt2 was running sweet till a stupid gate jumped out in front of mehttps://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif. But hey, bashing is nothing if you dont break anything (if you know what i meanhttps://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif). Anyway, i hope you decide to buy another truck and we can have a bash some time, great fun.

No worries mate, i just scored myself a hpi e-savage on tuesday (https://ausrc.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=10797&PN=1), so i will be using that more frequently than the nitro mt2, theres also a couple of my friends that love to rally there tamiya tourers as well, we'll give the nitro boys a run for there moneyhttps://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

heh. i live in fairfield west, and the first place i took my thunder tiger EB-4 was the showground, but we only hit the undercovered part, cause it was raiding.

where exactly did you guys find the jumps? i didnt know there were any there.
