Well, In keeping up with my heli addiction I have added one to the collection. A raptor 50 TITAN which is the newest raptor 50 out. It has some improvments over the standard 50 such as longer boom, push/pull linkages, hardened main shaft and some SUS parts but they have removed the carbon base plate which is interesting. Heres some picys of it all built. Love the new stickers toohttps://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Total equipped weight would be around 3.5kg and length nose to tail approx 1.3m with a rotor diameter of 1.2m

Nice Sir Husky... nice. https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

Just a slight correction... us scale interested blokes know that 600mm blades
generally give you a rotor disc size of just a shade under
1300mm. https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Husky,

I bought the same heli just completed assembly as per the manual but foundthe links from the aileron lever to servo (72mm long) are too short. I confirmed the link lengthfrom swashplate to aileron lever(58mm) and reconfirmed link length from aileron lever to servo to be 72mm also the installation of the rotor shaft(top and bottom position). Whenyou install your servos let me know if the specified lengths work I found the links are too short. I had another look unable to find parts installed wrong, not sure if my servos are different I would think they should all be standard. I have a JR810 servo for the aileron. How should the aileron lever align with the pitch arm.? https://www.ausrc.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

There is some contention about whether or not the aileron bellcrank is
in fact at 90 degrees. Personally, I've never paid much attention
to the discussion as I only have the 50V2... but this thread may help
you...

G'day mate, Although I have had my titan for some time now I am yet to install any electrics in it so i cant help with the linkage issue. sorry. I havnt really looked at the manual to see if there were any errors, I built my titan based on my 50V2 sdt rappy. Let me lnow what you find as i will most likly have the same rob when i one day install some electrics.
