Got sick of seeing my truggy wobbling around in the air from unbalanced wheels
So I made my own wheel balancer and I want to share it with you guys in case you feel like making one ,
It makes a massive difference to the way a truggy handles
The rod spins on bearings and I just use blue tac as weight

Very clever! When do you start mass production?

Nice idea mate, a simple idea, yet very affective.

You could probably use it to balance other thing likes plane props and heli blades by the looks.

Cheers Dave.

Looks good mate. I borrowed one off a bloke at the track today, he made it just out of a rear hub, axle and hex assembly. Just bolt wheel on, hold the hub and spin the wheel, it was pretty good too. Worked very well.

I just balanced the Baja wheels and was quite surprised how much I had to use on some.
This is maximum amount of blu-tac I had to use on a wheel (front)

The blue tac sticks very well, just clean the inside of the wheel with brake cleaner and blow off with compressed air,
in truggy wheels cause the back of them is finned, so there is nice little spots for it live,

The amount of putty/blue tac depends on how out of balance the wheels are,
But not more than say 20c piece for me
