Hey guys

I'm buying this kit this weekend most likely -lol- 24 inches long (around 2x 30cm rulers) and only needs radio and 2 servos - which i have lying around
It's AUD$180 normally at the LHS (hobbystation) but he's gonna discount me if i buy two of em (which i kinda wanted to do anyways - so a mate or my niece can try em out) so i'll get em both at AUD$145 each - which isn't too bad i thought

Bit of a change of pace, but it'll be fun, cause there's no motor - so it'll REALLY be all down to 'pilot's(?) sailing skill and ability - SPEAKING of which - i have none of -lol-

SO - i need any and all tips i can hehehe - i have such little knowledge of sailing, that i can only tie 2 kinds ofknots - and one of em iskinda more for fishing -lol- i have been told that it's pretty easy to pick up tho anyways - and 2 channels - can't be THAT hard to learn right? -lol- Rudder is simple - i just need tips on the sail mainly i think -lol-

anyways - enough babble - if i find it enjoyable enough, one day i might get a 50inch yacht like this -lol-

-lmao- kinda hey - only got the drifter/LST left out of the 6 or 7 i had at home at one stage -lol-

But always wanted something on the water - not too keen to spend a heap on a fast boat (if i had a powered boat - it'd HAVE to be SERIOUSLY powered - and i don't really wanna spend a whole lot just yet -lol-)

You think i'll have any problems with a Pistol Grip radio??? -lol-

-lmao- i HOPE they're more reliable than the LST - i'm gonna have to go swimming if it fails on me....either that or wait for it to blow ashore -lol- hehehehe - but the LST was actually pretty good with my experiences - for the record

There's a million places i can think of to go sailing with it - but no ponds with ducks that come to mind in the area - strange huh -lol- Actually - there's one i can think of - but it's pretty gooey-gooey green looking - i'd prolly stain the boat up with algae
