: Hawkesbury Model Air Sports "Helis downunder" - 29 Sep - 1 Oct - Vineyard NSW

Hawkesbury Model Air Sports (HMAS) and MASNSW are pleased to announce that a fun fly weekend will be held at the HMAS Vineyard NSW flying field over the October long weekend.

- Set-up clinics
- Speed sessions
- Autorotation competitions
- Wings Assessments
- Public displays

$20 entry fee for pilots

The general public will be invited on the Sunday and we will have extra sessions to promote this fine hobby, including demonstrations and fly bys of helis and other aircraft.

We have invited the NSW Police Pol Air team on the Sunday and their schedule permitting, hope to have them with is for a few hours.

Marco Rebello, newly crowned world champion in the "experts" class at the recent world 3D Masters will be doing some demonstration flights on the Sat and Sun.

Limited canteen facilities will be available - tea/coffee and BBQ.

A radio pound will be in operation for non 2.4 gig radios

Vineyard is a suburb of Sydney and is located 50 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown. Vineyard is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. Vineyard is situated between the Richmond Road running from Blacktown to Richmond, and the Windsor Road running from Windsor to North Parramatta. Vineyard railway station is on the Richmond branch of the Western railway line of the Cityrail network, between Blacktown and Richmond.

There are numerous motels in the near vicinity for those who may require accomodation.

We can also organise transport to the field for those who need it.
