Just got a zipp kit rigger for a winter project.
what is the best way to seal a wood boat inside and
out before painting ?

Your going to love the build, finishing resin is the go as stated above.
When I was 15 I used aquadhere and learnt the hard way. :(

I use WEST SYSTEM Resin

105 RESIN + 205 Hardener (Fast set in winter)
105 RESIN + 206 Hardener (Slow set for summer)

Mix is 1:5 i use syringes from a chemist 50 or 100ml ones are good just remember to get 2 and only use one syringe for the resin and one for the hardener. i also get cheap food storage containers to mix it in from woolies or coles if you have a heat gun handy put the resin in the inside and use the heat gun on low setting and let it run around the inside of the hull, this is how i did my rigger, and it worked fine

for the inside use the slow set just be wary of the ambient temperature DO Not apply if the outside weather is going to drop under 20 Degrees .
