i dont want to go out and get full hooked on it and am looking to spend about $300 or there abouts,

i was looking at some of the holden rc cars, and i think they look awsome,

Another thing was i dont no whether to get petrol or electric?? which one would be the fastest BUT cheapest??

so yer, i dont mind whether i go new or 2nd hand, but even a nice on road subaru or something would be awosme.

Thanks for your help people,

Phil

oooooooo what a can of worms to open

they both seem to have thier benefits.

for that price range you will be wanting a 1/10th scale and from what
your discussing your after an on-road car and not an off roader.

I have a kyosho V-One-S which is nitro and a heap of fun and is 4wd and quite fast

I also have a Kyosho pure ten on road 4wd nitro which handles much nicer but is not as fast

I got both of them for much less than $300 each and i enjoy them heaps

I also have a RC10GT off road 2wd Nitro stadium truck, again heaps of
fun but is best ofr off road, even though it handles the on road just
as nice.

nitros have the pain of tuning and runnng in and seem to be higher maintenance

electrics have the problems of batteries and a larger expense to buy enough batteries to keep you going for a few hours outside.

im new to this too so these are merely my own personal observations so far.
