I was at a local flying club here in Mel. One guy stacked his plane pretty bad. Broke the fuselage in two but the engine and the prop were pretty much fine. Would you believe that he made an air boat from the left overs and an esky lid in less than two hours. There was a flooded section of the paddock due to the big rains we had. It wnet really well but initially he had some steering problem. After a few minutes tinnkering it handled really well. Really was impressed with how quick this bloke knocked it up.
i was planning on building an airboat ran by two 5inch EDF units. i started to make the hull and ran out of fiberglass halfway through. i then lost enthusiasm and left the project, but one of these days i hope to start it up again
