OK, i've got no idea about RC sailing boats and just need some help re. radio's.
I'm going to buy one of these 1.8m Monsoon sailing boats ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15428 ) from Hobby king for a mate who's into sailing and a bit of RC.
The stick radio available in the Aus warehouse (HK 6ch jobby http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=16255 ) seems problematic so just wondering if a pistol type TX (standard car radio) would work. The boat only needs a 2 ch Radio so the HK 2.4Ghz for $22 ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=16252 ) should do the job right?? or do sailing boats require the stick style radios to get x and y on each channel???
