BLSO working bee next Sunday 1st May.....8am Start
If you have access to used car tyres please bring some
as we need plenty to finish safety wall.

Other jobs will be extending watering system connections
CatDave has organised excavator to dig trencehes so then we
only have to run out 25m lengths of hose instead of 50.

Clean out container and re-instate the damaged
silt fence around the track.

Practice will follow

I would like to thank Mario, Cooper, Mat and John for their work on extending the water main to either end of the track. It is a great improvement and we cut the long hose's in half which has made it so much easier to water. We also got better water pressure at the nozels. Great job guys just in time for next weekends race day..

Guys
subject to the weather - At this stage we want to hold a working bee this Saturday to tidy up the track a bit - weeding etc. We did some work On Tuesday - many thanks to CatDave & Chiko for your help at short notice. We will follow the WB with open track day for a few hours.
Can I ask that those who can help on Sat bring gardening tools etc & if you have a petrol whipper snipper - that would be a big help as well.
We will open the gates at 11am spend an hour or so on the workings bee & then open the track up for a couple of hours & finish say around 3pm - being New Years eve - this wll give you time to get home & get your party frocks on.
Can you pls post on here if you are able to help that way we know how many are willing to help
Thanks

A big thankyou to the people who turned up today - we managed to get a fair bit done & tidied up the tarck a bit more. I will probably see if I can cut the grass again next week & we hope to have a pre-season open track day meeting the following week (all subject to the weather of course).
I'll post the details later.
The committe will also be meeting soon to organise a schedule for the race & practice days for the next 6 months
