I what to build my own boat driven by 4+ electric motors but im not sure what ones to get. From what i've heard brushless is the way to go but they are quite expensive $100+ The boat would be fairly large and I was tinking of running 2 jets and 2 props so they need some power behind them.
why not just run two zenoah G260 PUM marine engines for the main drive and then you only need batterys to power your rx,servos etc.
doing it the other way round just sounds needlessly complicated imo
i think you will find getting the equivalent power from electric motors and batterys would quickly exceed the cost of a zenoah not to mention runtimes, theres a reason they are used in large scale boats
