Man, those boats are crazy, you must have a real passion. Id be willing to bet that your Boat collection would be running into the Tens of Thousands of dollars!
Do you know the dimensions of a 550 size motor off a boat?
I got a Robbe Najade and i want to put a faster motor in it and esc, but the shaft on the motor needs to be 5mm wide or else my other stuff wont fit, as in the shaft hard ware and stuff.
Thanks heaps mate, always wanted to see the inside of an electric boat, i've got the nitro hammer, and wanted to see how much different the electric was.
No i didn't know they were a plastic hull! The turning is amazing, but i don't recon its fast enough LOL!
Yes i do have a hole above the carb, not too big, but enough to get some decent airflow through...
looks like i'm getting a Blackjack 26 brushless with a upgraded offset rudder, strut, flex shaft, hull mods and blueprint, ariel relocation, steering pushrod all upgraded. this guy sells brand new boats, with the option of modding them for you. Seems really good and I have many recomendations for his work. Check out www.fastelectrics.com
i'm only some LRP 4000mah 6 cell packs at the moment, but it takes a bit to get it onto plane, and it cavatates madly. That link is awesome im buying the trim tabs asap
I really need to dial in the trim tabs as its running a little dry right now, and i'm struggling for control in the faster sections.
If i had my choice it would be the "Prince" AKA Delta Force 25 electric. Damn fine boat that one!
The little hydros are nice!
Cheers, Brett. :thumb:
