It's a Miniature Aircraft Spectra G , kit is made in USA.. Powered by a modified Zenoah 23cc petrol ( unleaded ) motor, they go great !!

A quick costing ..

Spectra G kit .. . $1600
23cc Petrol motor .... $400
muffler .. $200
rotor blades .. $200
electronics (servos, gyro) $1000 ++

About the same as an upmarket 90 size Nitro powered heli , but costs lots less to run .......

They are worth every cent too , I quite like mine!!!!

:) :) :)

As will Mr. AUSRC himself , one day soon ......:thumb:

you should have put a can of coke in the pic... to show its scale perspective - didn't realise until now its slightly bigger than your usual Raptor 30

that'll be big enough to take your neighbour's annoying kitty for a joy ride!! :D

$400 sounds a bit steep for a zen23puh, I can supply them for less than that:D

Hi Mike ,
That heli , as has one of my G's , has a Toxic Racing modded Zen 231puh , I also have a G with a Hanson modded Zen 260puh in it .. they are a tad dearer than a std 231puh , I also have a std 231puh in a G too .. .. but as AUSRC will tell you , I'm silly!!!!

BUT , in the hopefully not too distant future , AUSRC will have a Hanson 26 in a Spectra G of his own ...........

For an indication of size ; the main blades are 710mm long (each blade ).. overall length , front of canopy to tail gearbox , is approx 1400mm.........

It is very nice to fly and would have to be the pride of the fleet It flies very well and will do anything you ask of it. The extra weight of one of these compared to a 90 size Nitro makes you have better power management and in the right hands they will do anything want it to do including 3D.

That is awesome. Just don't realise the size until you pick it up in the video. Great flying too. Hopefully one day I can control a heli even 1/4 as good as that. I would be happy to be in the air for more than 2 minutes atm. But its all about practice I guess.
