You serious Karen? Would be good to get a class at Luddenham running like this. Short races and have a championship for them!

I too have been looking for stuff about these, I am looking to get my brother into RC for christmas (so he can break his own, haha).
The Blitz to me look to be one of the better one's.
Great all rounder, handles good, tough and can handle the power of brushless and the gearbox is supposed to be quite good.
It also seems to be quite well balance to me.
The SC10 from what I have read is more race inspired, not quite as tough (generally) but to me looks and feels sterile (if that makes sense?), to me it just isn't quite like the others, would make a good racer though.
The slash seems good also, has the widest and biggest support, seems to do well on a wider range of things but... everyone has one... haha.
But I have to admit it does look the most fun looking.
The Stike is different, seems like it is more suited to certain types of tracks and might be a bit more fragile than the others but still reasonably tough, but to me is the more unique of the lot.
On the other hand though, there are the 4wd versions aswell, although I imagine a different beast all together.

Thanks for your input Sh1mmy.........some good points there.
It seems to be the way to go....heeps of fun with little breakage which is what I like considering I have little time to fix anything that goes wrong.
I wan't to be able to pretty much drive and put away.
I'm very keen for it now might buy this weekend.

I have been reading up on these and they definately seem the way to go...
I like the look of them alot more than the others and they seem to have a lot of improvements over the sc10..

looking at the Blitz with the shell off, one could be forgiven for mistaking it for an SC10. I will be interested to see the SC10 and the Blitz side by side

Yeah I really want one of these and will get 2 so the wife can race.......
The blitz is only new but HPI do have good product support and the parts are usually priced well as assosiated parts are normally a little pricy.

If we get a big buy we could get a good discount on them.

The Blitz only comes in Black or Orange as far as I know, unless we can get clear shells.
We need to all get the same type, as in RTR or kit form to keep the racing fair.
I think the class we would be aiming for would be RTR so it caters for all and is also the cheapest form of racing - and as it stands it is a side show to the Baja's so keeping it RTR/stock would also keep costs own a fair bit

I like the idea of keeping it stock as I don't want to spend cash on it.... just drive it.
I think using your own radio is not out of the question but I would like to know what other people think.
Stock tyres
Motors
Speedy
all plastic stock parts etc.
Other SC bodies should fit and this would be fine but I would just paint the outside of it until HPI sell a clear shell.

Def RTR so it keeps it cheap and fair.
Radios could be a problem if we don't get a good spread of AM freq's. People with spare 2.4 radios could run them without an issue I think.

Happy to look at others but the Blitz is brand new and I really like the HPI robust quality.
