Hard to say what it would sell for. Not much to compare it to.
Just every now and again have a look on ebay and see if one pops up.

If your receiver has a "BEC" (battery eliminator circuit) you won't require 4 AA batteries. The servo and mechanical speed control will be powered by the normal battery.
In many old receivers, you needed the AA batteries to power the servos. Without a BEC or AA batteries you will have 7.2V power to the servo and speedie. Not good.

I saw one go for $860 Australian on ebay, it was brand new in the box never run.

That will give you a rough idea what it's worth!

Definatly keep it original and don't drive it, if you break something you will have a nightmare trying to get parts for it.

It's a collectors car and a shelf model!

Cheers, Brett.

A common mod was to lock the rear steering as sometimes it made it a little twitchy. The air shocks were then replaced with Kyosho gold shocks. I see the PO has replaced the outer rims of the Mugen wheel centres with Tamiya ones, to get a better range of tyres available to suit. I still have mine, with that setup. Guess I'm old, too.

that is the resistor for the mechanical speed controler. they do get hot so nothing to worry about.

We meet again mugen bulldog.. this RC car was my worst nightmare in 1984ish..I never saw it run. I could not get the 4wd to work for me and the air shocks were the worst! Albeit I was 13 or so.. ;-)
