In my desert truck, I run the lvc at 3.2v.
I assume it's all the same for both air and surface, same chemistry etc...
The pitts looks nice too by the way.
When I can afford it, I will be looking at getting a mulitplex easy star, been wanting to get a plane for a while.

Remember that the LVC on the speedy operates whether the system is under load or not. So if you have a high load on your system, the battery voltage might sag a little in order to compensate for the higher amp demand. In this case, your resting voltage of the pack might be say 3.6v, but under load it may drop to 3.2v. This is probably a good thing, as it stops the battery getting so low that providing power would damage it. However, if your setup is not as harsh on the battery, then you could actually approach the LVC of 3.2.
That dude that Oblivion linked to is right on the money. Depending on my setup and what vehicle, I set my LVC to right around 3.5v. Usually once my packs start approaching 60-70% used, they start hitting the LVC and I either stop driving or land.
The way I've measured this, is once I land, I check resting voltage, write it down, and and then charge. Once the charge is done, I make a note of the mAh that was put back into the pack.
There are always 2 sides of the story tho. You get guys that are like "LVC? whats that? I just drive till it stops then charge and go again", or others that say, "nahhh 3.2 isn't low enough, go for 3.0 or 2.9... I've been doing it for ages and nothing's happened". Ask those guys if they actually recorded mah replaced, internal reistance betweent the cells, etc etc. 9/10 they didnt.
IF you want your cells to last for a good 300 cycles, then treat em nice, buy a few extra so you don't have to try and squeeze runtime out of em, and run them well within their limits.
IF you want your LiPos to .. well I won't say fail, but if you want them to be un-trustworthy (I don't know if that's the right use of the word), then just abuse em and hopefully you won't see any fireworks

.
As for me, my LiPos live in my house (right next to the patio door), they travel to and from places I drive and fly in my car with me and I definitely do not want to have one go pop when its anywhere near me, or in my house, or if I were asleep. Therefore, I treat em realllly nice lol. Otherwise, best to treat em like a naughty dog and store em outside in a metal box
