I hear ya! I just wish I had a job to support this hobby.
I'm a stay at home dad with 3 kids. Two 1 year old twin girls and One 2 year old boy. Everytime I buy for the Baja I feel like I am taking something from them.

Positive way of looking at it mate, is that a happy dad makes a happy family! hehehe i think we all have the disease. fact is that your kids will benefit from all of this as they see you go nuts with it! i've tried to give the hobby up countless times but it just keeps on coming back! lets try and look at it in a positive way, as i'm sure they'll understand.
Baja, it's not just a hobby........ It's a religion!

Make sure you buy heaps of spare turnbuckles if you fit the lower rear RPM arms.
I like upper rears but hate the lowers as I was breaking TB's like you wouldn't beleive.

Nah I'm running the X-Can still.
I need different gearing to make good use of the CPI pipe.
I kept up with a 29cc with a dominator on it with my 26cc and X-Can.
If we had more room and different gearing he should pull away from me but with the stock gears we were neck and neck.
I want to get the 18/56 gearing but thats $50 I don't have.
My X-Can sounds sooooo tough and meaty I will miss the noise it makes.
On a good note though I didn't break anything today. Its not a joke Bajas make you broke.

Nice Filthy,
haven't checked out this thread for a while but good to see there has been a lot of spending
I have already fallen for this disease with helis, now it will be with a Baja!
Since I posted near the start of the year I kept spending on heli's but finally have the funds now for a 5B SS, I also have Christmas on my side....
What is your recommendation on pipes now that you have gone through so many?
Keep it up and I want more vids! your baja is hot with those blingy rims and shiny silver, gonna have to order me a pair of those.
Your front tires also look as big as your rear ones, its a **** awesome look. how did you do this? or is it just the tires?Thunder Tiger Raptor 50 Titan | CopterX 450AE V2 | Losi 8ight-T 2.0 | Tamiya TT-01 | Tamiya Super Hornet | - Spektrum DX7 | Spektrum DX3S | Sanwa AM

Thanks for the compliments on the Baja d5ive.
The front tyres are Proline Bowties and the rear are Proline Excavators. The rear rims are the chrome Desperado rims from Proline.
With pipes I would stay clear of DDM Dominator unless you can try it for a fit first. It seems some fit perfect and others, like mine, hit everything.
The CPI pipe is excellent. I saw a video of it having more top end than the Dominator and it is completely protected unlike the Dominator.
If you want a bullet proof exhaust and aren't after extracting all the HP you can get I would recommend the X-Can. Its got such a meaty sound and great low end and it will never break.
This is how mine is now.....

Only disadvantage is the shock mount/brace gets bit dirty with oil but its nothing major. It looks awesome too.Its not a joke Bajas make you broke.
