So,
As i promised everyone we are going to fix Futaba, and that means getting help from Futaba AU/Japan etc. I promised 4PK units before XMAS and they have been supplied especially for us from Futaba AU (Yep these ARE NOT GREY IMPORTS!)..

We have 10 left in stock (after original pre-orders) and you also get free shipping on them. Don't think they are going to last too long, but thought i would just let everyone know, they have immediate shipping now.

It's an awesome price at $540 which is on average $200 cheaper then other stores in australia.

Cheers
Justin

I'm looking at buying a new engine for my T1000. It has a 26cc RS engine in it now but am looking to replace it with a Zenoah G270 with a WT-813 carb or a GP260 with a WT-603 carb or the 30.5cc RS engine.

Which engine would be the best engine for low down torque but also have a great top end? and what type of pipe would match one of these engines at the moment I have a clone SS pipe on the 26cc RS.

I'm leaning towards the VRC side mounted silenced pipe or the Dominator side mounted slienced pipe.

I have finally completed my beast with the throttle servo coming in yesterday, however I wanted to make sure that it was ok to run with the Spektrum SR300 Sport Rx that came with the new DX3S DSM2 compatible radios, I don't want to go for a chase on the break in run.
Anyone use this Rx in their Baja before, i have a Telemetry Rx but I thought I'd use this as I didn't need the Telemetry.

Also anyone know how far the range is on tehre Rx's Thanks heaps again!:thumb:

As always, I will let Sid introduct him self, but to get us started, here are some things lifted straight from his website.
We’re an Aussie owned family business. We specialise in Electric RC Aircraft, especially affordable EDF (electric ducted fan) military jets. To start off with, we’ll just have whole aircraft kits, but we’re going to be getting in a range of LiPo batteries, decent and not break the wallet expensive airplane ESCs, motors, upgrade EDF units, chargers, glues etc. To begin with, we have 3 different lines/brands of RC aircraft – Lanxiang (LX) Models, FlyFly Hobbys, and Starmax. We’ll be adding a few more in the very near future. We should also possibly be doing a couple of brands of helicopters, and their associated bits and pieces.

We’ll also have a massive information area for new people to the hobby with a whole bunch of stuff ranging from battery care to aircraft setup and pre-flight checks. We’ve also got our own forum section where we’ll be putting the majority of our photos and flight videos etc, as well as any working non-stock power options for our kits etc. Customers and members of the public will be free to sign up and post away.

not sure if this is the right section to post... but here it goes!

I'm going crazy trying to fix this problem....

So here is the car in question: http://www.ausrc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19432

When steering is trimmed so the wheels are pointing straight, the car steers the right (going slow or fast). I have to trim the wheels to the left for it to go straight, but when acceleratin and braking the car would veer to the left!! So annoying and makes it very hard for me to do some speed runs. I don't think it has to do anything with the weight balance or torque steer, because it veers to the right even when going very slow.

I've checked all bearings and they're all good, I then moved all drive train parts (CVDs, bearings and wheels) from one side to the other. And the car still steers to the right!! I then moved the front diff to the rear, and rear dif to the front. Car stil steers to the right!

I measured distances between front and rear suspensions arms, and everything is squared up and straight. Shocks seem to be all good too, they all have equal pre-load.

Is there anything else I could check? Would a bad ball diff cause problems like this?

Thanks for reading!

The Factory Team B4 is a roller in well used (yet maintained) condition, it has seen plenty of track use as well as occasional bashing. I noticed a crack in the front of the chassis over a year ago so tried reinforcing it with CA glue, the glue appears to have also cracked although the crack has not grown despite a trip or 2 to the BMX track. The screw nearest to the crack is not threading into anything substantial although there is a new bulkhead included with the spares which may resolve this issue.

The car includes 2 used body shells. Other used spares are a stock battery strap and some CVD parts. Used tyres include a pair of X-2000s which have seen one race meet only as well as some Losi ribs with the same amount of use, other than that a worn pair of ribs and 2 pairs of lightly used front wheels. Tools include shock rebuild tool, camber tool and turnbuckle tool. Manual and original box included.

New spares include:

* 4 wings
* 1 Pro-Line 3166-00 Crowd Pleazer body with 2 wings NIP
* 1 pair MIP #1550 Shiny CVDs NIP
* 1 9566 Front shock tower NIP
* 1 9568 FT Front shock tower NIP
* 1 9573 FT rear shock tower NIP
* 1 9609 B4/T4 gear cover NIP
* 1 9587 Wing mount/shim set NIP
* 1 9575 B4/T4 motor guard NIP
* 1 9583 FT Rear A-arms NIP
* 1 9579 FT Front A-arm NIP
* 1 9597 CVD axle bones NIP
* 1 9563 Front bulkhead NIP
* 1 9571 Rear arm mount 3 degree. Anti squat shim set 1 & 2 degree NIP
* 1 Rear shock tower
* 2 L/H rear arms
* 1 front arm
* 1 pair Yeah Racing alloy front arms NIP

The B4 Stealth has not had as much use and is RTR with the (synth) Tx and Rx from a Losi Mini LST & a Futaba MC330CR ESC, can't remember the motor turn, I thin about 17t or so. The only real issues with this are that the rear shock tower has oversized screws mounting it to the chassis and the Rx makes the steering servo twitch slightly but constantly - it's still quite driveable though. Front tyres have around 70% tread with rear tyres only about 20%
